Trumpet is last in the line of a top breeding line, and also the son of 'Oslo' - the incredible event horse that Wiliam Fox-Pitt rides, who recently won the HSBC FEI Classics 4 star event at Pau.

James is teaching a L3+ Freestyle Clinic on March 12/13th, which we have listed as Full (on website) but we have just had a cancellation.

The course is held on Saturday & Sunday and price includes lunch both days, cakes & drinks, aswell as Saturday night Livery for your horse.

Just a quick message to thank all of you who came to our SHOEING/HOOF PREP Workshop yesterday !

We had a good mix of people - you were all great fun & it was great to be able to do so much hands-on, practical techniques with you all! (Luckily we found enough horses for you all to do some work with!)

This takes place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June. This clinic is great fun, the weather is looking good, and the Sunday mainly takes place on Salisbury Plain!!

Please be aware of a date change with the end of April courses. The 'Putting Purpose to Principles' Adv L/2 clinic shown on the website has now moved to April 24/25 (SAT AND SUN) instead of 25/26th April.

This means The Knowledge Day will be postponed until a later date.

If you have not yet heard of the Knowledge Days, these are horseless workshops - designed to be practical days to help you become more savvy in everyday situations, helping you to become a better horseman overall.

Hi all, just to let you all know how Dennis is getting on since I've had him.  He is doing great, and becoming more confident each day.  After spending months keeping four feet on the ground, we are now helping him get confident by getting four feet off the ground, and it is making all the difference.  Here are some pictures of his first jumping session, and we will keep you posted. 

He has a permanent place at the foundation station, so watch this space.

Whilst teaching some new students, I shared a little story with them, with the hope of being able to empower them, and really help them reach their goals, and it went like this...

Alice was walking along the yellow brick road, when she came to a fork.  There, she saw a tree, with a cheshire cat sat in it!  Which road shall I take?" she asked.  "Where do you want to go?" was his response.

"I dont know", Alice answered.

"Then," said the cat, "why does it matter"

Hi All,  we are pleased to anounce we are to be holding a series of PRACTICAL horseless workshops with James Roberts this winter.  These pratical days are to here to help you become more savvy in everyday situations, helping you to become a better horseman overall!

The days begin at 9:30am, and finishes at 4:30pm. 

Lunch is provided, and as usual, our now famous "mums homecooked lunch", with hot drinks and cake provided all day

All the workshops will be held in the large indoor arena.
