The best day ever!

I played a little bit with my icelandic mare Glodis (RI/LI) today. I’ve often trouble with mirroring her energy and it often takes a while before she becomes LB and trusts me. But today she rewarded me for my hard work...

Help me with my LE

I was planning to ride some freestyle, figure 8 pattern on my Swedish draft mare (LE L2). I’ve done it soooooooooo many times, and still I need to remind her every time, both online and freestyle.

Mirroring the energy while riding

Today I had the pleasure to go on a nice trail ride on my Swedish warmblood gelding RI/LE. It went really good, even in the beginning I could ask him to trot calmly on loose reins. I did also a lot of yo yo game cause even if he’s sensitive to slow down, he has problems with stopping. But just after a couple of backups, his whole body and especially back felt much more engaged. Very nice felling, although it might also have something to do with the change of shims in the pad, but hopefully both.

The importance of Time

I had the pleasure of playing with my little icemare Glodis RI. It started of pretty bad, tried to get her to the stable by liberty. We made it but I needed to get the halter on as soon as I could to not risk anything if she would blow up.

Before I went to the introduction-day me and a friend was about to have I played a little bit with 2 of my mares.

The first Lb E was doing great, she would have been something to show on the introduction later but the road conditions are to bad to risk it.

Today I even had the time to play with 3 of my horses. I started off with my 3 year old icelandic stallion and did a lot of zon 3 FG in the pasture. He’s the most amazing horse I’ve ever played with!

Confidence builder for both horse and human

To ride big Horses (ridden mostly icelandich.) has been one of mine biggest fears. And if I hadn’t known the difference between pushing and asking a scared (RI) horse I would have fallen off and probably never really got up again on my warmblood.

Savvy is the KEY

I realised today that with savvy, u don’t even need patience, u just know that u need to do something until the horse gives u the response u asked for. Today I finally go to play with one of my horses and I pic the mare I what to graduate level 2 with in the summer before going on a course with David Lichman.
