Exiting news...and some horrendous happenings

Exciting news....I have finally found a yard to move my pony too, which will hopefully prove to be less bitchy and judgemental that my present situation. We move on the 1st April, and I can hardly wait, and as a result I have gone and spent more money that I probably should have. I even bought a lilac wheelbarrow to match my grooming kit box...I'm that elated. They are also curious about Parelli, although I have said to them that I am still only a beginner and still investigating the tolerances of my pony...she seems to have become a total sceptic and aversion freak.

Beset with frustration

Thank-fully not the equine kind, but being realistic, my parelli playing is very limited by my environment. So looking forward to getting my own transport this summer and having the freedom to take my pony to play days, rather than being transported as my YO sees fit...read as no other livery is paying her more that day.

Celebration

I got home from the celebration rather quickly (I think I might have to start using some savvy with my car as I don't think it is going to put up with my driving for much longer). I had a phone call from Sharon Crabbe as I didn't get to catch up with her at the event and I think she was a bit stunned that I was already home. I did find it somewhat amuzing that so many people were wearing stetsons and fringed jackets, and I did wonder if I was exepcted to be a mini me clone of Pat, but as he said "we produce horses not robots", so I guess not.

Play Day

I ended up going for lunch and an afternoon of watching. The place at Trowbridge is incredible. It would be lovely to move my girl there, but I don't think a 2 hour daily commute is feasible. So its saving for the transport and weekends away for us. Niki is a truly lovely person and very open. The sun came out and it was just fab. Looking forward to the Celebration, so if you see a slight person with short dark hair wandering around looking somewhat bewildered...that'll be me.

We've only just begun

Literally!!! I have just finished watching the Seven Games DVD. Now all I have to do is find someone to do the simulation with before approaching my pony. Hmmm I think it may have to be the door handle. I think I am definately going to have to take my girl to the play day in Trowbridge on the 26th...would be good if the YO daughter wants to go...we shall see. No biggy if I end up going on my own...do most stuff with her on my own anyway, except Sat mornings when I have my instructor keeping me on the straight and narrow (my instructor is all for Parelli).
