Help

Yesterday Tasha came to help me. I love that savvy club members are so supportive and you never feel alone.

She agreed with my plan so just having a little bit of back up made me feel much more confident about what I had been doing. We played the catching game with him a couple of times.

He took off a couple of times but Tash was able to hold onto him.

Operation Arthur

My plan for the week seems to be working well so far. Tonight he came to the gate when I called him. Gave him some carrots and some scratching. Got his halter on him, managed to get him into the stable for a handful of food. Then back to the field for more carrots and scratching.  Hopefully this is all making me more interesting to him.

Didn't try to play any other games with except for asking him to back away from the gate when I opened it. He took a step back just from a phase 1 wiggle of my finger so was pretty pleased with that.

Bad Times

Well we have been playing the games for a few months now. Had some fab moments including lessons with 2 different Parelli Professionals and yesterday was spent all day watching a 3 star PP give two new friends lesson.

Get Together

Hi

Just wondering if anyone in the Cheshire/Manchester area fancied meeting up? Maybe we could meet for drinks and a chat one evening. Then maybe if we all get along we could maybe arrange some playdays, visits, DVDs nights etc.

Love

Amy and Arthur

Oh Wow

Only in my first week of playing the 7 games but am so happy and amazed with what we have already acheived! Arthur loves the friendly game and is learning fast the porcupine game. After playing with him i just took him for a little walk around the indoor school and then started jogging with him.... I have very rarely been able to get him to trot without a feed bucket in front and a lot of dragging but tonight he trotted straight after me and even put in a couple of strides of canter.

Just beginning the journey

Hi my name is Amy and I am almost 32! I live in the North West of England, close to Manchester. Yesterday my carrot stick, rope halter and 12 foot line arrived!!! I am so excited about starting my Parelli journey. I have a 2 year old Belgian Draft called Arthur. I have worked out he is a Left Brain Introvert. We have started playing the friendly game but that is about as far as we have got at the moment because of the snow and ice. Yesterday I couldn't even get him out of his stable because of the ice rink right outside his door!
