Hi to all Parelli students worldwide.

 

The JR Foundation Station is a faclity set in the heart of Wiltshire, England. Specifically designed for starting young horses and foundation training.  James also runs camps and clinics here, and is pleased to anounce visiting instructors from around the world, including 3* instructors Jackie Chant,Berin Macfarlane, and Lyla Cansfield are holding clinics here too, not to mention Karen Rohlf, returning for the second time in July.

As well as sending your young horse for starting, foundation training, and attending clinics, students are welcome to film their auditions here and make use of our facilities, with music available for all horsenalities and savvy's.

For playdays, and tournaments, you are welcome to come along and enjoy an atmoshere purely for horse lovers.

It is a beautiful farm, set in a gorgeous, natural site, with fantastic facilities which include an indoor arena, all weather outdoor arena a five acre savvy park, with undulating permanent pasture, a ten acre performance park, with dressage arenas and jumping tracks, a one km trotting track for following the rail, a 60 foot round pen, and trail riding across the salsibury plain.

We have on site accommodation, in the form of a fully equipped cottage, and three rooms, two double and one single available for bed and breakfast in the main farm house.

Date Announcement for TRUMPET (son of Oslo) Young Horse Start :

21st,22nd and 23rd November.

Trumpet is last in the line of a top breeding line, and also the son of 'Oslo' - the incredible event horse that Wiliam Fox-Pitt rides, who recently won the HSBC FEI Classics 4 star event at Pau.

JRFS - 'GET FOCUSED' Workshop!

Hi All,

A quick message to say a big thanks to all 58 of you who attended our 'Get Focused' Workshop on Sunday!

We have had some great feedback (some below) from you all & glad you learned some new things and took some good tips away with you from watching the demo's etc !

Hi All,

James is teaching a L3+ Freestyle Clinic on March 12/13th, which we have listed as Full (on website) but we have just had a cancellation.

The course is held on Saturday & Sunday and price includes lunch both days, cakes & drinks, aswell as Saturday night Livery for your horse.

Level 1/2 Clinic on Saturday 19th February

There are a couple of places still available on this clinic with Stephanie Gaunt to be held at Hamstones, Littlewindsor, Near Beaminster, Dorset DT8 3QU. 

To be held in a super large indoor school and running from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., the morning will start with a session indoors discussing the focus for the day (with tea, coffee and biscuits!) then an on-line session, followed by an afternoon of freestyle riding.

Thank you again Steph & Zoe for producing two very informative and interesting workshops on Saturday 5th Feb.

Congratulations to all the people who attended the 'Introduction to Parelli' workshop in the morning.  We were blown away by the response and it was great to see so many new faces - the feedback was very encouraging and we look forward to seeing you all at future Parelli workshops and clinics.

Just a quick message to thank all of you who came to our SHOEING/HOOF PREP Workshop yesterday !

We had a good mix of people - you were all great fun & it was great to be able to do so much hands-on, practical techniques with you all! (Luckily we found enough horses for you all to do some work with!)

Next Winter Workshop on 22nd January with Steph

Come and be inspired and motivated!  The first Winter workshop takes place on 22nd January at Hamstones, Littlewindsor, Beaminster, Dorset DT8 3QU.  We start with a session indoors (with tea/coffee and biscuits!) and then we have the use of a beautiful, large indoor school so that the show will go on whatever the weather!

The day runs from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs just £75.  Spectators are welcome f.o.c.

What a Great Weekend!

What a finish to the summer series of workshops held at Littlewindsor!  We had good weather, instruction from two instructors (huge thanks to Steph Gaunt and Zoe Williams) and fun and laughs with the tournament games on Sunday.  And then the final tea and cakes, prize giving and farewells!  The summer has gone so quickly and now only the winter to look forward to...but not before extracting some dates from Steph for the next few months (watch this space for further news).

Increase your Savvy on Saturday (10.00 a.m. to 5 p.m.) followed by a BBQ, and then Sunday is Tournament Day, with rosettes and prizes.

Hi All,

As a thank you to our students, our second FREE Savvy Camp is taking place this weekend (13 & 14 August) -  taught by 3 star Horse Specialist and Instructor, James Roberts at the JRFS.  Rider spaces are full for this year, but anyone and everyone can watch this clinic, which will also be very interactive for spectators, where you will all learn lots. And its FREE!!

Another Successful Workshop with Steph!

The fourth in the Summer Series of Workshops with Steph Gaunt took place on Sunday 25th July in the ever evolving play park at Hamstones.  'Focus' was the topic for the day and the riders were challenged to keep this despite the flies, other disturbances and the natural tendency to see what everyone else is doing!  Good work riders, and it is really great to see the enthusiasm and progress everyone is making.
