FREE 2 DAY CLINIC - @ JRFS THIS WEEKEND!

Hi All,

As a thank you to our students, our second FREE Savvy Camp is taking place this weekend (13 & 14 August) -  taught by 3 star Horse Specialist and Instructor, James Roberts at the JRFS.  Rider spaces are full for this year, but anyone and everyone can watch this clinic, which will also be very interactive for spectators, where you will all learn lots. And its FREE!!

Another Successful Workshop with Steph!

The fourth in the Summer Series of Workshops with Steph Gaunt took place on Sunday 25th July in the ever evolving play park at Hamstones.  'Focus' was the topic for the day and the riders were challenged to keep this despite the flies, other disturbances and the natural tendency to see what everyone else is doing!  Good work riders, and it is really great to see the enthusiasm and progress everyone is making.

Don't Miss Jackie Chant 20th - 24th July

Still places left on this course with Jackie Chant, 4 star Parelli Professional, to be held at Hamstones, Littlewindsor, Dorset.  This is probably the last time Jackie will be coming to the UK for any length of time - don't miss this opportunity to study with one of Parelli's most experienced instructors!

The format is:

Days 1 & 2    Level 1/2

Day 3            Level 2/3

Days 4 & 5    Level 3/4

Email me now to book your place!

Please be aware these courses are first come first serve and some courses do have very limited numbers so make sure you book your place early!

Advanced Level 2 Clinic with James Roberts

Well, this weekend I got over to James' foundation station to take part in the clinic.  It was brilliant fun!

A special BRITISH OPEN

What a very special British Open!  This year was a fantastic week at the Open.  Our demo team put on superb presentations.  As always, Alison Jones and Orange were solid gold, Rachael and Phoenix were insperational, Terri and Pumpkin were better than ever, Sally and Bertie were breathtaking, Ruth and Eddie stole the show, and Lyla and Maddie were a picture of harmony.

DATE CHANGE:"The Knowledge day" Kit prep and care, tying hackamores, saddling with savvy

Hi All,

Please be aware of a date change with the end of April courses. The 'Putting Purpose to Principles' Adv L/2 clinic shown on the website has now moved to April 24/25 (SAT AND SUN) instead of 25/26th April.

This means The Knowledge Day will be postponed until a later date.

Thanks !

My week at the JRFS

Thank you James for a fantastic experience week. I learned so much and Seren has come back a different horse - or I guess it is me that has changed not him. You are so generous with your time and sharing your years of experience with all that come to you. I can't wait to come back in 3 weeks to collect Morwenna and see how you have transformed her. To get to watch you Katie, Josh and Janine play with the colts was a privilege, I feel very lucky that I have had the opportunity to spend time with you all.

Awesome horseless workshop!

Many thanks to James and his team for putting on such a fun, informative and practical day on Saturday, I had a brilliant time!

It was great to meet some new people, see some old friends and soak up the knowledge :-)

Roll on the next one...

Becca

not that we like praise and recognition but...

Just got my silver medal and 200 cumulative mile rosette for Arch and my endurance exploits this year !

AND the Harlster who is still only 4 (well for another month anyway) got his first ever medal for anything - a bronze for his miles this year and a rosette for his first 100 cumulative miles and a carrot for being the best trail riding horse ever ever.

Happy !

Max

Another fantastic week!

I was lucky enough to get to spend another week at the James Roberts Foundation Station - and once again it was educational, inspirational, fun, and challenging!

Katy was a complete star, she seems to enjoy being there as much as at home, and it was great to get a plan mapped out to improve our freestyle and finesse so that level 4 now seems attainable.

James, Vicki, Janine and Josh were brilliant as usual, there was so much to learn just by watching them through the week.
