I've only owned this mare since March 2011. So we are just starting to get to know each other. This mare was out of control when I got her. She would chase her previous owner out of the round pen. She had learned to blow up when she would not understand what was being asked of her. Then she quickly fiqured out that this solved the problem, because, the problem, ...her people, would leave her alone.

For the last couple years every time I had some spare change I threw it in a jar.  The jar turned into five jars, then a half gallon apple juice jug, then another.  I'd taken change out on days when I was starving as a college student and needed a few bucks to go to the store.  I'd also taken out enough money to buy a pair of jeans once!  So, with that in mind, I figured I had enough to open a small savings account.

 HI y'all! 

 

I'm Samantha, I've been in Parelli for about 10 years now. I went away for three of those and now I have just moved out to the country to a nice place with a barn, pastures, etc. I love it. 

 

I have an 11 year old OTTB. He and I were about level 2 when I went on my hiatus. Groove is an LBI. And quite a love bug!

I recently bought another OTTB as I am getting back into horses and Parelli. She is 4. and sure is a challenge, but a good one. Capri is an RBI.

So today my LBI was RBE! Usually, it does not bother him what so ever to be away from his buddies, but today it was an issue…a MAJOR issue. I wanted to continue with the trailer loading games, do some more zone 5 driving and attempt some canter lead changes on the figure 8 but I had to abandon those goals because my horse just wasn’t with me. I knew I had to play with the horse that showed up and get his mind back! So I said "How interesting!

My name is Kristen Hunnicutt, I live near Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. I have 4 horses: Baby, Lacey, Lightning, & Chico. I have been doing Parelli for 5 years, since I was 14. After watching Parelli on RFD-TV for 3 years, I finally saved up enough money to buy level one. I knew from day 1 I wanted to be a Parelli instructor. So my plan is to apply for an externship at the Florida campus when I graduate college in a year and a half. I am a level 2 graduate, working on level 3. My main levels horse right now is Baby, my Tennessee Walker.

I am finally on a little break from the University of Illinois and can now return to share parelli blog....I have added a current runner to the herd for a little R & R.  He is my Winter parelli project that will return to the track this Spring.  I can't wait for Christmas Day to unwrap a Level 1/2 DVD.  I have watched the Savvy Club videos but have never ordered a Levels course until now.  Looking forward to it!

Hello, I'm new to the forum!  I'm 56 yo, live in Ellensburg, WA with Boss for dressage, Delilah for trail, two barn cats, Cramer-dog, and my daughter Paula, who is 10.  We are living a small town lifestyle in a single parent household.  I officially passed Level 1 in 2007 and am currently playing in Level 2.  During this time, I got a new Parelli partner in Boss, my dressage TB, 12 yo and LBI.  My TWH mare, Delilah, is 8, and is also a LBI.  I am so lucky!  I love these horses!  Previously I had a LBE that I passed Level 1 with.  A great guy

Hello everybody. I would like to share how I took my horse for a walk this morning, left my savy at the barn and almost ended up bear lunch. My horse and I recently moved from South Florida to the Catskills Mountains in New York State.  I am in love, with the change of seasons, the farmers markets, the beautiful scenery, I love it all. My horse is also in love, she went from being in a little barn in the city being turned out for a couple of hours a day to living outdoors on acres of pasture and with a herd.

Hi to the Parelli community!

My name is Debi and I've been doing PNH for almost 3 years now with my two thoroughbred mares and three kelpies!

I compete with my dogs in agility (showjumping for dogs) almost every weekend and try to get out and about with my horses too!

I have a 12yo fleabitten mare, Mia who is RBE predominantly but does have RBI & LBI tendencies and my 8yo bay mare, Bonnie is predominantly LBI with RBI tendencies.

I ordered my first official Parelli 12 foot line back in December.  I love it...nothing compares as far as quality and functionality. 

While going through papers yesterday I ran across the instruction sheet that came with the 12 foot line it reads:  The best rope in the world is not a lead rope...It's a line of communication between you and your horse.
