Suggestions to make this more "user friendly"

I know on the Savvy Club website everyone has been saying that this site isn't user friendly (or not 100% user friendly). Though I love this site and think it's a GREAT idea, I do have to agree. It is hard at times to navigate to things and have it be interesting and something a member wants to log back in on.

Here are some suggestions that I think we all might like, and please everyone feel free to put in your own suggestions. The forum can only get better if we all take the time to give our suggestion on how to make this site totally awesome.

1) "Follow this blog" option. Since we have blogs, it would be awesome to be able to go to someone's blog, see that we like what they are posting...or simply know them and are friends with them, and get updates each time they upload a picture or make a blog. This way the members are close and friendships can be made.

2)"Forum": Maybe just change the Action Forums to just "forum". I personally never got the action part of it but maybe that's just me ;). I'd say the forum should be one of the biggest parts of this website in the sense that, this is probably where alot of people want to be. Look at all the huge horse forums out there and how many members there are. If we could make ours bigger and have it almost like the Savvy Club Forum, but more non-Parelli student friendly also, I think it would make a great audition to this website. Add different topics such as "Health & Supplements", and so on...I think having a full forum would be good...for I know alot of people are looking for an active forum that is horse related besides the ones there already are, and in the mean time they could be learning about Parelli since I know alot of the members are Parelli students. Buuuuut.....The Group Forum list? Way too long. If maybe it's possible is to make a "Group Forum" thread like how you have it for suggestions and Seen Online, and make all the groups sub-forums. So if you are looking for a particular group, it's in one folder...but if you don't wish to go through the list of peobably 30 or more groups, you don't have to. It will give it a clean look and not so cluttered.

3) For the side bar that has the members username then lists "Blog", "Post new blog entry" and so on. Could we make it a little more organized? For example have the normal (using my username for example) "SonnyWimps" at the top, but in that section ONLY have my controls. So only have "My Account", "My Unread",, "Messages", "Recent Posts", "Search", "Affiliate Account", and "Log Out"........Then have another section below that that says something like "ShareParelli.com" then list the other ones "Blog", "Post a New Blog Entry", "Forum", "Groups", "Create a New Group", "Image Gallery", "Upload an Image", "Events", and "Create Calendar Events". That way you have your user controls in one section...the first top section on the left hand side, then the normal site controls like posting a new blog or looking at pictures below that.

4) How about a profile? So we can upload a picture to have as our avatar...have a signature, and so on (like what we have on the SC Forum). I think it will give a good touch.

5) Maybe it's just my web browser or the setting my screen is on, but whenever I post a picture or look at a picture the picture runs into the side banner on the right so it cuts off some of the image. Is there a way to fix that to make the website more professional?
