***Deleting off-topic crossposts in your group - HELP***
Is there a way I can make accidental off-topic crossposts disappear from my group(s)? I have noted that I can delete any post/blog from my group but I am concerned that this will delete it from ShareParelli completely. I just want to remove posts which were crossposted to my group in error and are off-topic, thus cluttering up the group for anyone browsing the blogs and forums in my groups., but without deleting the post/blog from other groups.
I tried to test the delete function by crossposting a blog myself to my own groups, but deleting it in one group made it disappear from the other, plus the edit window is slightly different for my own blogs/posts compared with the edit window I get for other people's posts/blogs (for example, I can tick and untick audience for my own posts/blogs, but not for other people's posts) so my gut feeling is that if I delete crossposts from within my own groups they will disappear from ShareParelli forever - I guess because each blog/post has its own unique node location? Not what I want to do! Is there a way to "unshow" such posts in your groups without deleting them and without having to ask each person who accidentally crossposted to go in and edit their audience for each post?
Please HELP!
