Savvy Stables and the my "Horsenality Report"

I received my "Horsenality Report" and began reading it immediately.  It's a lovely addition to my Parelli Collection.  Linda made it so personal. 

I haven't read the whole report - yes - it's that big - but I did try something Linda suggested. 

• when Vegas pins her ears and swishes her tail - pet her - you will blow her mind!

I did it plus I gave her a cookie - by the end of our session we made a little progress.  We loped better and did our first jump together.

Recently I heard what Pat said about doing it until your horse makes a change.  This is what I need to do with every thing!  I played point to point with a cookie on each barrel once and gave up because I didn't see a change - in fact Vegas stopped being interested in the cookie.  What I needed to do was play it for 7 days or more until Vegas was a willing partner in the game.

Vegas and I have an extremely close relationship, so I'm thinking I'm not very savvy when I'm riding her.  Linda's tip is a great start for Vegas and me to develop a positive relationship when I'm mounted. 

Vegas is predominately a LBI and we have passed our Level 3 Liberty and just sent in our Level 3 Online. We're currently playing with Level 3, Freestyle.
