1st March

Had a wonderful day, the sun was shining for the first time in a couple of weeks, it was lovely and perfect weather to play with the horses.

I had a day of break throughs with all 3.

Foxy has just been excellent did her 2nd session at freestyle she was great. She did all the safety checks easily and then once I was in the saddle she turned easily although I did have one mishap she didn't turn at one point and walked and stood straight on top of her pedestal. she did a nice little trot. I did have problems getting on as she tried to kick me, but at the end i practiced getting on and off and she was fine, if anyone has any suggestions to help with that then please let me know.

Red was given some online work and went well, then we practiced all the safety checks for the freestyle work. this is the first time i have done any freestyle work with her and she was really good. but as soon as you are on her she goes from her normal LBI to Extrovert switching from right brain and left brain. but she was great for all safety checks and did a nice little trot and circled and changed direction easily. it was great to be on her.

bob was freestyled as well but hes much more advanced and was ridden by my 11yr old helper, we had some fun with him. i was walking around with her whilst she was chatting to me and bob kept following me, so my helper decided i needed some exercise and suggested that i could walk around and see if he followed me. this was great fun she just sat on him and did nothing, i would run off he would trot after me and when i jumped the jump he would follow and jump it, he was great the only thing he wouldn't do was back up when i walked backwards he finds that confusing and turns around in circles.

and that was my wonderful day
