"Play with your horse" Introduktion day for regural people!

Before I went to the introduction-day me and a friend was about to have I played a little bit with 2 of my mares.

The first Lb E was doing great, she would have been something to show on the introduction later but the road conditions are to bad to risk it.

After her I took my Lb I and it didn’t go so well at all. She was focused on me, but still she felt kind of off. I even failed trying to motivate her with some carrots, which, until today, had worked every time. But I have a feeling that it was my mirroring her energy that was stuck on the last horse, Lb E.

Later we had the ”play with your horse”, parelli, horsenality introduction. It came 32 listeners which was amazing. We had 40 min theory at first when I talked about Pat, Linda and the Love language and Leadership, how you compare the relationship we want to have with our horse, to the mare and her foal. Then the games and how they are the language we use with our horses and how you can see them play the games in the pasture. And I saw a lot of agreeing faces. Then my friend talked about the horsenalities. But extremely briefly.

Then we went out to the arena and played a little with our horses, I got to borrow one of my friends horses, LB E. I HAVE NEVER MET SUCH A DOMINANT HORSE! As soon as he saw than I saw about to play with him he tried everything. Thankfully I didn’t need to be very hard on him, but I didn’t really feel that I got a connection with him. Probably because he felt like he already had done everything possible with the simulations we had, and I had more or less run out of imagination, and when I tried to do just the things I do with my horses, It showed that I needed to fix some things before I could start doing it with him.

But the good thing was that he was very easy to read, LE, or RB I. But that little monster had a tuff time when I got on, I tried to back him up, no response, higher phases -> he started to get RE, I had to quite my phases and bend him, no Try to bend him. Even if I’ve ridden a lot of iceh. I’ve never met one with such a neck! This one could brace! But I got in my power position and just waited. I got to say that I have real Savvy on the bareback power position and waiting part!

I really hope we inspired some people to start a new relationship with their horses! The thing is though that the Parelli equipment and programs are quite expensive and u really need to put your heart to it, to even just start...

Thank u Pat and Linda for making this possible
