Africa: Our Journey #20 He did it!

Another beautiful day.  Even warmer than yesterday.  Africa loves having his blanket off.  He was running around the pasture getting mud up and down his legs and under his belly.  There were even splashes on the rest of his body.

We have been working on standing still while being groomed.  It is difficult for a RBE. But  Africa was calm and still today, standing with one leg cocked through the whole grooming. 

We were playing with Freestyle today and this was the first time Africa made steps sideways.  He can do it when I'm not on him, but it's been a struggle for me to help him understand what to do while riding.  Today he did it!!!
