So the most exciting thing I could ask for happened today. I am offically being enrolled into the 4-week fast-track course in Pagosa Spring,CO from aug. 30th to sept 24th! I absolutely can not wait to go. So today I thought I'd make a list and get started on what I still need to get done. While doing this I thought "hey why not check out some hotel/inn prices..what the heck cant be too bad" well I must have been crazy. Now I've decided to cut some cost I'd like to find a room mate... however, "who wants to room with a 19 year old?" I now ask myself. So if anybody out there has any ideas on how I can cut this crazy cost of living there for a month down my ears are wide open and ready to take in any ideas you have to throw at me! Other then this small concern (or rather big one) as to where I'm going to live for the month. I've got quite the list going.. and time will pass very fast.. so heres an example of my next few months for anyone interested
Besides carrying my full time job, and a few part-time jobs. fitting in all my parelli, taping my level 2 (freestyle and online) working on level 3, and going for surgery (at the end of march) all I have left to do for this trip is....
- Get my passport (gotta love crossing the USA-Canada boarder)
- Find a place to stay while in Pagosa
- Call transport company so that my horse, Imp, will get there on time.
- Call the vet. get all the vaccinations, and his medications for heaves.
Find a Map... Mapquest and GPS here I come. Coming from Southern Ontario, Canada its almost guarenteed that I get lost along the way.
- Find places to stop for the night during my very long road trip!
- Make sure the bank pays my tution (cant wait to pay that back)
- plan for gas money, and food, and accomidations along the way
And whatever else could possibly come up that I must add to this list along the way. Although I am a tiny bit stressed now, I know this will be a great experience for me. and cant wait to celebrate my 20th birthday in Pagosa Springs, CO!!!
