Help me with my LE

  I was planning to ride some freestyle, figure 8 pattern on my Swedish draft mare (LE L2). I’ve done it soooooooooo many times, and still I need to remind her every time, both online and freestyle. Every time she needs to change direction or just keep on going in a circle I need to remind her with the reins or the stick, and today when I did it with the stick she got really mad and I needed to use phase 4 a couple of times which means I wasn’t effective at all, and all the time she thought that my idea was terrible, and I asked her to trot and she didn’t even try to keep it up too long. 

Then I just thought and came to the conclusion that, she is a Wonderfull Finess horse, really sensitive and does everything I ask her, never protesting or anything. And the biggest difference between my finess riding and the freestyle riding is that I do stuff with her almost constantly, and in freestyle she has a lot more time on her own (in her brain). And so I tried do just do a lot more, change direction here, do some sideways there then some yoyo and so on, and it worked quite good, she even started to walk faster and more energetic. 

 But then it’s not freestyle anymore.. HOW am I supposed to get her to learn the patterns both online and freestyle if just 3 meters is to much ”alone time” for her. Cause I have seriously done the f 8 pattern at least 6 months. Or am I thinking completely wrong about this? Please help.
