Parelli Humor

In a word Hellyes! It's confirmed, position at Aus 2011 Fast Track, Funds, Transport, Time off Work- Noah and I are on our way to achieve the dream. Me, my crippled legs, and my 10.2 pony will be burning it up in 6 short months, better get cracking! I think today is honestly the best day of my life- I am proof that there's more to horses than riding, so so much more and I look forward to sharing the joys of Partnership all over SA. This is just one more step towards that goal. OMG I am just ecstatic!

Today I got some wonderful news, my Parelli dream is coming true! I have been accepted as a ground-skills only student which means I am able to attend the Fast Track in Sydney as soon as I get confirmation of funds. If I do well, with my little mate Noah this is the doorway to becoming a Parelli Professional! I feel amazing, empowered, awed and a little frightened. So many thoughts- it's finally happeninging, the hard work has paid off, God is awesome, omg I'm going to miss my cats and my Archie, Ohhhh my GOD I am finally on my way!

Had some sun today down in the cold depths of a Kiwi Winter.

I took the covers off the horses & was picking up the poop in the paddock. Both horses were intently following me around & if I didnt pay them any attention they would walk between me & the barrow & stand in the way OR in the case of my RBI mare that I am using as my partner for the Levels Program... she would lift her front leg & out it in the barrow then look at me & when i made a noise to express my unimprssedness (if thats a word) she would then tip it over!!

I Had laugh at her.

  In 2005 I had the job of riding horses other people deemed "un-ridable" or who had not been ridden in a long time. I was a traditionaly trained English rider.

 Around this time I bought Jimmi (whom my old trainer paired me with.) The grey half-arbian was nine at the time but was a reject among  people. His LBE tendencies made him difficult to work with. I was fourteen at the time, and I was the first rider he had in years.

Under the recommendation of my trainer, I bought him with allowance money I saved up to buy a horse of my own.

I just spent the last 30 mins tying a hay net for my goats! it is a little small but it makes a fun toy when hung in a somewhat.... unstable position. I'm going back down soon to see how much of the actual net they have eaten... lol It was also fun because I tied it in their stal, hanging out and doing my own thing, but also having the company.. hooray for Parelli who says that undemanding time with your horse just relaxing isn't a bad thing!!!!!!!!!! I'm never going to work with my boys again!!!!!!!
