Is Namara Playing with me Or Am I Playing with Her?

Because of the arrival of 3 scargoids on Nancy's girth line our riding plans are on hold - I'm not confident to ride bareback on my RBE/RBI with my advanced years.  So we are playing with liberty. Now I am confident she knows all the 7 games, and at liberty when I am up close and personal all is fine but when the distance between us increases she looks at me with a question and wanders off to stand on the pedestal - looks at me with a question, then offers sideway - looks again at me with a question.  Now the pedestal and sideways are her 2 most difficult movements.  Is she showing off what she can do? Is she showing me that she can do these things if I put less pressure on her? or is she just playing games with me.  These sessions are very positive with her in her introverted and calm frame of mind and when I move in close and re ask my original request (figure of 8) she'll comply although in a slightly grumpy manner as if that's not the game she wanted to play..  Any suggestions?
