What a good day!

On Line and Liberty ~ 1 hour 30 minutes

She trotted gorgeous circles right away!  Woo hoo!  She gave me the opportunity to tag her right away, so I think that really helped.  Then the flank rope.   To the left, Pip was very calm and willing to go at all three gaits.  Very cool!  The left has always been her better side, but it hasn't been this good!  Then to the right, we had some confidence issues.  So, we trotted lots and lots of circles until she was able to trot calmly.  You can always tell when she is calm by her head placement.  Not up and down so much, but if she is looking into me, then she isn't calm.  If she is looking more where she is going, then she is ready for more.  When I asked her to canter, we had a few moments of cross firing, but it didn't take too long before she was cantering properly.

Then we went to Liberty.  We just played with some Bonding Game, its getting good!!  All three gaits in both directions, time to add obstacles!  We did some Figure 8 at the walk, looks good.  Finished it with a bit of trailer loading.  She isn't super confident yet, but I don't think it will take long.

I tried to ride, but the saddle slid forward, and since I was getting tired, I decided to call it a day.  We'll figure it out with Nita Jo Rush tomorrow, or over the next week.

Play on,
