Africa: Our Journey #53 Look Where You're Going

Last week I wrote about Africa's difficulty with the weave pattern at Liberty.  Well, Friday I discovered why he was having that problem.  While practicing our Liberty audition he followed the pattern easily.  Last week he had his eyes on me, instead of where he was going.  Consequently, he was tripping over the cones and not following the weave.  Friday, Africa paid attention to my body cues and watched where he was going.  The pattern was much smoother and Africa wasn't stepping on the cones.

I think he was focused on getting a treat last week and he kept looking at me for the cue to come to me.  Friday, he was still getting treats but more selectively.  I upped the expectations for a treat.
