Opportunity for learning

Today it was the first day of my new "job". I will be working/learning under a dressage educated person and as payment she'll help me with my horse.

She claims not to do Parelli, but she always says "We don't make our horses do something, we make them want to do it!"
Isn't that a wonderful way of thinking.

I know I'll learn a lot in this job and I'm so looking forward to starting!

After having a meeting and "get to know eachother" talk with my new boss I went to the stable to go for a walk with Nakhat.
I went into the woods and found a nice building-muscles hill up to a little mountain top with an amazing view. She was clearly enjoying herself and so was I!
On the way down we met a another horse and if this had been a year ago Nakhat would've gone completely wild! 
As we passed, the other horse went a little bit crazy but Nakhat was amazing, she just topped her ears and continued walking with me.

I am so getting all the rewards for our relationship building over the last year.

Tonight I will fall asleep with a wide smile on my face.
