We have changed our group to private and deleted the user responsible for these messages now - is there anything else we can do to avoid further spam?

I got the nerve to start a blog earlier this week following a satisfying session with my horse. I needed to share my joy. Following instructions, I made an introductory blog that was way too long. I also added my story of the good day that I had had. Both entries disappeared along with my membership to shareparelli. I would like to know if something I said was objectionable and caused my blog to be deleted.

I entered an event for a jesse Peters clinic for June 11-13.  I have the wrong date in as a beginning date.  It used today's date of April 20. So...it's looks like jesse's clinic is from today, through June 14.  

I went to change the date, and it now says that I triggered a spam filter.  Can this be fixed?  I can't post anything anymore.  If you have the abitlity to fix this calendar post, please do. 

I'm trying to post an event and it keeps saying it has triggered a spam filter.  What am I doing wrong and how can I get my event posted? 

Besides the general forums, is there a way to have forums for just our group?  I see "group forum" and "managing group forums" but I can't figure out how to actually get a forum going for just our group.  Thanks! 

First, thank you to the volunteers who are keeping this site going.  This is great!!!!  Please, keep up the good work.  I am sure this new venture has been a lot of work, and there have been a lot of bugs to work out.  Hang in there!

Now, I have a question and a possible problem to point out.

What is the difference between groups and forums?  I have looked and can't seem to find an explination.  They seem to be connected, but I can't quite figure out how. 

I have put the ShareParelli banner succesfully on my web site at www.freewebs.com/pnhsavvy but I'm not getting any click-thru counts? 

Did I do something wrong?

I completely missed the timezone check box and so now when attempting to list an event the timezone is incorrect. i have gone back and changed the timezone in "my account" but how do i change the timezone for the group that i started?

One more question. If i want to delete the group that i have started - because i can post events and comments with another local group that has also been created - what do i need to do?

Is there a way I can make accidental off-topic crossposts disappear from my group(s)? I have noted that I can delete any post/blog from my group but I am concerned that this will delete it from ShareParelli completely. I just want to remove posts which were crossposted to my group in error and are off-topic, thus cluttering up the group for anyone browsing the blogs and forums in my groups., but without deleting the post/blog from other groups.

 I created the group Basse-Normandie and so far we have a huge 3 members, however a post has been made by a non-member - is this allowed?

If so, is there a tag for the group to set only members can make posts?
